“5 Mushrooms” and “3 Apples” are paintings that I did with the intent of getting back to basics. After a trip to the grocery store I took some of the mushrooms and apples that I bought, arranged them to be photographed, and then did a painting of them. With a little creativity you can turn a simple object into a beautiful painting.
