Madelaine Ward was a Canadian impressionist who was born and educated in England. She received Distinction in Art throughout high school and college. In 1963, she emigrated to Canada, settling in Dundas, Ontario. Over the years, her work has been accepted in juried shows such as the CKOC, the Women’s Art Association, the Planetree Gallery in Burlington, the Art Gallery of Hamilton, and the Dofasco Gallery at the Dundas Valley School of Art. Her work is included in private and corporate collections in Canada, U.S.A. and the McMaster Faculty Club. Her work was represented by the Art Gallery of Hamilton Sales and Rentals, as well as Carnegie Gallery in Dundas. She was a regular contributor to the Dundas Valley School of Art annual auction including works accepted for live auction. Her estate is now represented by Earls Court Gallery.
